Hunter Library's Virtual Reality (VR) Room
Hunter Library's Virtual Reality (VR) Room is located in Room 145 on the first floor of theLibrary. Two Oculus Rift stations are installed in this room. These stations are each equipped with a high-end PC, the Oculus software and downloaded applications in software library. The software has been configured and sensors set to create good sized boundaries laid out with blue tape. While there is not a lot of room for spectators, the large screen monitors in the room can be easily seen from the windows outside. The touch controllers are available for check out after the room has been booked and verified. Safety and conduct guidelines are posted in the room and by reserving the room you agree to abide by those and liability statements.
Students and faculty are welcome to come use the room to experience and explore the capabilities and applications of VR.
